Affiliate Network Committee
TBBOR Affiliate members are professionals from businesses that directly support the real estate industry such as mortgage lenders, title company representatives, home inspectors and other specialties. This network unites Affiliate members for the purpose of creating mutually beneficial interaction with the REALTOR members of TBBOR. Community Outreach Committee
TBBOR’s Community Outreach Committee is responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships through community involvement and outreach. This committee is dedicated to public, charitable, educational purposes and is responsible for adopting organizational plans annually and both establishing and implementing projects to improve our presence in the community. Government Affairs Committee
Monitors local legislation and recommends positions, in concert with Texas REALTORS & NAR “Calls to Action”; responsible for interviewing, recommending, and promoting candidates, with emphasis on the local level. During legislative years, the committee organizes, promotes, and participates in the REALTOR Day at the capital. Members Services Committee
This Committee promotes and educates the TBBOR membership on benefits and services available. Plan and organize short educational workshops on MLS system, lockbox system, showing service, RPR, and other services. TREPAC is a statewide, nonpartisan group of real estate professionals working to protect private property rights for REALTORS and Property Owners. The TREPAC committee raises money and awareness for the Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee (TREPAC). Texas REALTORS Leadership Program (TRLP) Alumni Committee
Only past TRLP graduates are eligible to serve on this committee. Responsibilities include recruiting and selecting candidates for the TRLP class each year. TBBOR participates in a regional TRLP each year and is responsible for hosting one of the educational sessions. The committee is responsible for developing and organizing TBBOR’s session each year. Growth & Development Taskforce
Plans and organizes the annual TBBOR Growth and Development luncheon. This luncheon is open to the community and focuses on the growth and development of the Temple-Belton area.
Hour Of Thanks Taskforce
One of the longest running events in TBBOR history, the Hour of Thanks is an opportunity for TBBOR members to come together for fellowship and gratitude. Talented members of TBBOR perform and share what they are thankful for. It is also an opportunity for the association to reflect and share with the membership on what has been accomplished for the year.
TBOR Duck Dash Taskforce
As part of TBBOR’s Community Involvement initiative, the TBBOR Duck Dash is a member and community wide fundraiser benefiting a local organization. Each year a recipient is chosen by the incoming TBBOR President. The Duck Dash consists of a rubber duck race, 5K fun run, and festival with business expo.
